I am involved in two art shows in April. In one I have sculptures and a video and in the other I will have photos. This is one of the photos that will be in the flower photo show. Lots of work yet to do in the next few days!

This is the top photo in a series of fourteen in my photostream. My son, Evan, was getting ready for a guitar recital on campus, so I wandered through the visual arts building.

It was the very end of the school year, so many of the rooms had been stripped of art. But, there were still enough to ponder.

In contrast to photos I've posted from galleries I've visited, these are all works by students, as part of their process of learning and expressing.

None of them had titles.

Here you see them teaching their children to hate - oh no, wait a minute - no, actually they're teaching the color wheel. Dang. (This was from an art class)

To folks who are not "friends and family," I'm sorry you can't see more pictures of the school; people in Iran consistently expressed such hesitation and concern about being photographed that I decided not to show any recognizable faces in "public" photos.

If I know you, and you'd like to be "friends and family," let me know and I'll make it so.
