The Rotary Club of Adliya "Earth Day Art Competition" took place on Friday 21st March 2008 and raised BD26,750 for charitable causes.

BD20,000 will be donated to the Ministry of Social Development in order for them to build a specialised Art Centre and Workshop for people with special needs.

BD2,000 will be donated to the "Philipines Workers Association" to help destitute Filipino workers fly back home should they wish to.

Paintings will also be auctioned and money generated from the auctions will be used for further charitable causes.

Frieze art fair 2006. There were at least three artworks featuring Kate Moss. We saw her there during the day on Wednesday with Jefferson, Gwyneth(sp?) Paltrow and a bunch of other people (possibly Jefferson's new model girlfriend?). Also saw Claudia Schiffer who I misidentified as Elle McPherson. Typical, I'm always getting my supermodels muddled up.
